African Diaspora Network is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit membership organization. Our mission to harness and engage the intellectual, financial, philanthropic and entrepreneurial capacity of Africans and friends of Africa in support of economic and social development across Africa.

Since 2010, the African Diaspora Network (ADN) has energized collaboration among Silicon Valley entrepreneurs, philanthropists and African diasporans to uplift its local community towards the benefit of Africa. ADN is dedicated to providing virtual and physical forums to accelerate access to resources that foster partnership, knowledge sharing, and advance investment opportunities.

African Diaspora Network's vision is to coalesce and fuel a global community of Africans and friends of Africa connected by a common purpose: to accelerate economic, business, and social welfare in Africa and the communities in which we live for the benefit of society.

The ADN Board of Directors

Almaz Negash, Founder of African Diaspora Network (ADN), founded ADN in 2010 to inform and engage Africans in the Diaspora.

Hugh Molotsi, Investor advises and invests in startups and is an active practitioner and teacher of Lean Startup methodologies.

Dr. Musimbi Kanyoro, ADN Founding Board & Co-Chair, President & CEO of Global Fund for Women, is a strategist for non profit management and board leadership.

Dr. Laura Hubbard is Associate Director of the Center for African Studies at Stanford University.

Chris Folayan, ADN Board Chair, Founder & CEO, Mall for Africa, is a leader who sees an exciting future in MallforAfrica and all its participants.

Founder

Almaz began ADN in 2010 to inform and engage Africans in the Diaspora and facilitate direct collaboration with social entrepreneurs, innovators, and business leaders to invest in Africa.

Serge Ouedraogo

Director of Special Projects

Serge is a seasoned financial analyst who advises business executives on strategic investments that maximize financial returns. He brings an extensive background in financial modelling and best practices for budgeting and financial reporting.

Director of Finance and Operations

Daniel helps develop and implement strategic initiatives. He is currently Senior Vice President of Golden Mean Capital Partners.
